OUR STORY
Madeline Winfield, our Executive Chef & Owner, had a colorful childhood and teenage life, trying new foods and traveling often. As a teenager, she quickly became inspired by international cuisines. From Mexico, the Caribbean, Greece, Italy, and the South Pacific islands, Madeline wanted to recreate the dishes she fondly remembered from her trips.
Her travel and passion for food was more of a hobby as she worked various corporate jobs before deciding to make it a career. Madeline attended Le Cordon Bleu to turn her love of cooking and entertainment into a full-time gig.
After gaining experience working at some of the top Seattle culinary companies, she started A Traveling Chef, where she and her team help you relive your travels or taste the world from your plate for every occasion and party life brings!
